LL & A's Monthly Book Tag

Welcome back to Alexis from I'M MAD FOR BOOKS, LUV and mine monthly book tag.

Every month we thought it would be fun to come up with a theme and to go along with that chosen theme, a tag. However it wouldn't be just your average tag, the questions would relate to books which in the end will also relate back to our theme for that month. So I guess you could call it a book tag.
To see the officially launch page click here

We welcome anyone to join. If you do participate, we ask that you notify one of us via My Twitter or Alexis's Twitter, or by commenting on either of our posts with the link to how you did this book tag. In doing so it allows us to add the link to your book tag to that months book tag post on our blogs. We also ask that you somehow link back to us as well.

 This Months theme is:
Thanksgiving

Questions
1. What's a book cover that reminds you of Thanksgiving(Fall)?

*Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver for some reason remind of a fallish theme. I believe it probably has something to do with the colour scheme. Though the book has nothing to do with anything like that.*

2. Which 2 authors are you thankful for?
 * Two authors who I am very thankful for would be A.G. Howard {author of the Splintered Series} & Elise Kova {author of the Air Awakens series}. Both authors have continued to keep my creative muse fueled resulting in me creating some drawings I have come to love.*
3. A book you liked by wouldn't read twice?
*Now this a very hard thing for me, I always usually enjoy the books I read. That maybe because I know the genre of books I generally love, or just luck, but a book that I DID enjoy but wouldn't read again would have to be The Heir by Kiera Cass.*
4. Which 5 fictional characters would you like to have a Thanksgiving dinner with?
Since I generally like more than one character from a book, I will cheat and do two or more characters from 5 different book series.. I am going to have a really big Thanksgiving dinner.
*Morpheus & Alyssa & Jenara from the Splintered Series
* Vhalla & Aldrik & Baldair from the Air Awakens Series
*Cole & Ali.. & maybe(Definitely) Frosty from White Rabbit Chronicles
* Noah Shaw from the Mara Dyer Trilogy
* Konstatin Black from The Kanin Chronicles
5. What is a book that is STUFFED with action?
* Now here's the dilemma with this question, I don't read many books that are action orientated, but some do contain a handful amount of action. The book that actually came to my mind was Fire Falling by Elise Kova. It was a brilliant book and everyone should check it out once it releases on November 19th*
6. If you could have any food iten from a book served at your table this Thanksgiving, Which would you choose or want?
*Now I was actually the one to come up this question and as I was writing and thinking about it, my thoughts drifted towards the Lemon squares? cakes? things that are featured in Air Awakens. However I have also realized that I have mentioned Air Awakens a lot (so much love for that series). So I thought I would come up with another answer. This is more of a drink, but it still should count Butterbeer from the Harry Potter books. YUM!*
7. One fall-ish book that others should read for Thanksgiving?
*I actually don't know of a fall-ish book, so this one I will leave up to you guys as readers to suggest a fall book that I should read or at least check out.*
8. What are 2 books that you are thankful for?
*I am going to try and change it up guys, I won't mention any books or authors I have mentioned before in this post. I would pick Ink by Amanda Sun because I got a chance to connect with such an amazingly kind author & the other book would be Summer on the Short Bus by Bethany Crandell because I believe this story has a lot of meaning to it. As well as the fact that the characters are amazing.*
9. Which two books MASHED together would you like to read?
*I think it would be really cool to read a Splintered, Alice in Zombieland book mash up. It would be cool to incorporate the Zombie's of Showalter's books into the world of Wonderland from Howard's books. Also it would be cool to see the characters from each book interact.*
10. In general, what are you thankful for this year?
* I actually have a lot to be thankful for this year.
I would say that at the top of my list would be the two very kind and patient book bloggers who would answer all of my blogging related questions when I first had the idea to create a book blog, and then even more questions once I had finally done it. Thank you so much Linda from La La in the Library & Booknut from 21st Century Once Upon A Time's.

Next I am very thankful for all the authors who have took interest in my blog and have asked me to review their books. It has been such an honor.

Another thank you to the authors who have indulged me with agreeing to do interviews with them.

My next thank you goes out to the people who help run the Air Awakens fan club over on Goodreads. Jamie, Iris, & Dani, it has been so great to get to know you guys as bloggers as well as devoted Air Awakens fans. The brainstorming conversations we share are always amusing and great to be a part of.

A thanks to Heather and Shelby (my twitter friends) who have been so lovely to book chat with, also to fangirl with. I hope to continue this and to have many future fangirl and book conversations. You guys are GREAT.
I know that we recently talked about this, but I thought I would mention it here as well. I am very grateful to Lauren over at Live Love Read YA & Elise Kova author of the Air Awakens series. The conversations we have gotten to share have been uplifting and inspiring. It's also a lovely thing to say and think that we are friends and that we will continue to have such lovely conversations.

I would like to thank Alexis, who not only is the co-founder of this book tag, but has probably been the best book best friend anyone could ever have. Your not only as weird as I am, but also equally as caring. I am glad that we could get the chance to talk and share our opinions on books and other things together. I am proud to call you my Travel Buddy, and hopefully one day we can travel and meet authors together.

Lastly, I would like to thank the readers who have read almost all my posts, and also the readers who have read one or two. It's been an amazing experience to blog and it's great to know that people actually look at my posts. I hope to conitune for many years.*

This wraps up this month's book tag! Enjoy everyone and have a great Thanksgiving, if you are into celebrating that sort of thing. Remember to tag me or Alexis if you have done the tag so that we can include you in our posts.

This was such a fun tag! I love the idea behind combining Thanksgiving and bookish love together.

You had some really great answers for the questions. Some of the books you mentioned I haven't read, but I might have to check them out soon! I have read Splintered and Air Awakens, but I think those are the only two mentioned I know of. I have to agree with great enthusiasm with all the love for Air Awakens, Fire Falling, and Elise Kova! Excellent choices!

This year I honestly have so much to be thankful for, but one of the biggest things is being able to meet friends like you and Elise! We have had some great conversations and I look forward to many more! We just recently got to know each other, but I feel in my heart that we will have a long lasting friendship! As long as you are willing to be mine, I will ALWAYS be your friend! Being able to chat with you and Elise have been the highlights of my day for weeks, and I hope to see it continue! I hope you know how much your friendship means to me!

Keep up the great bookish love and I will talk to you soon!
